Scope
One of the best ways to prepare yourself for your financial advisory career is through an internship at Houlihan Lokey. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of our team, gain meaningful, on-the-job experience and get to know Houlihan Lokey as a potential future employer.
Throughout your internship, you will get similar levels of exposure as a first-year Analyst, assisting in the preparation of pitch and other client materials, and conducting market, industry and company analyses. Furthermore, you will gain experience in financial modelling and valuation analyses, develop sector expertise within IT Services, support due diligence on buy-side and sell-side processes and work as part of a project team on live transactions.
Please note we are currently hiring interns starting in November 2026 for 3 months.
Basic Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both German and English (additional languages are a plus)
- Currently in the penultimate or final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
- Outstanding academic record, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field
- Prior internship experience in M&A advisory or a closely related area
- Solid understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and practical applications
- Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical capabilities
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Available for 3 full months starting November 2026
